Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon make an excellent union of grapes. Merlot is light in tannin and produces a smoother and softer wine, which evolves quicker than single varietal Cabernet Sauvignon wines. This Wine has become very popular in the past few years, and is recommended as a must try. Serve with pasta, meats and cheeses; it's also great with charbroiled steak! Recommend 6 months ageing.

10.5 litres of must using California and Italian Barbera is fermented on a 1.5 litre virgin California Barbera crushed grape pack to deliver a medium-bodied wine with unique complexity and character. Deep crimson colour. Fruity aromatics dominated by raspberry and blackberry with light spicy notes and a suggestion of vanilla. Well-rounded mouth-feel. Flavours of black fruit and a nice finish. Six months ageing is recommended to refine the balance between fruit, spice, tannins and oak. Will continue to develop for more than a year. This wine should match well with a wide variety of hearty foods -- Italian pasta with tomatoes, eggplant, chicken, or red meats. Anything barbequed. more -
The mature Riesling grapes from Cherry Hill Vineyard in Washington provide the foundation for this luscious wine. Notes of honey, apple and apricot dominate the aroma and taste, right through the long, rich finish. Displays much of the complexity of an Ice Wine, but with less sweetness. more
