Provided you have a glass or plastic fermenter then: Yes! Do not use bleach on stainless steel as it will cause rusting.
When using bleach, dilute properly (1 tablespoon of bleach to 1 gallon of water), let soak for at least 20 minutes and rinse thoroughly to remove any residual bleach.
