This traditional light color Belgian Candi Syrup was made by cooking beet sugar briefly to achieve a high fermentability and to partially invert sugars. They are used to boost gravity in any style of beer. With an SRM of 0, this candi sugar will impart no color to the wort and is available in 1 pound containers.
